The signal is subtle
We pass just close enough to touch
No questions, no answers
We know by now to say enough
With only simple words
With only subtle turns
The things we feel alone for one another
There is a secret that we keep
I won't sleep if you won't sleep
Because tonight may be the last chance we'll be given
We are compelled to do what we must do
We are compelled to do what we have been forbidden
So I won't sleep if you won't sleep tonight

SpiderMan 2... a whirlwind with settling effects
well, i just watched Spiderman 2 yesterday with my family, and i did expect it to be good. but not THAT good. i mean i have to admit, it was definitely better than the first one. you know how some sequels just totally discredit the first instalment? this one absolutely did justice to the first Spidey show. action was superb with fighting scenes between Spiderman nad Doc Ock "precisionally" (is there such a word? :-P) fine to the tiniest detail. and the love story between Mary Jane and Peter is not too sappy, with MJ learning to take control of her own life and actions without waiting around for Peter to make the first move. i'm glad she doesn't come off as a typical comic book damsel in distress. i like the revelation part where he reveals his true identity, and his love for MJ can be disclosed in the most bittersweet setting. the only flaw that i can rant on is the part where they didn't explain why Peter was suddenly "losing" his Spidey powers. is it because he lost his faith in his powers? or is it just a power glitch? oh well, you win some, you lose some. in this case, the good parts override the bad parts. over 5, this gets a 4 and a half from me.
