The signal is subtle
We pass just close enough to touch
No questions, no answers
We know by now to say enough
With only simple words
With only subtle turns
The things we feel alone for one another
There is a secret that we keep
I won't sleep if you won't sleep
Because tonight may be the last chance we'll be given
We are compelled to do what we must do
We are compelled to do what we have been forbidden
So I won't sleep if you won't sleep tonight

it's back to slacking for now
well, well, i've just ended a 1 week bazaar (last night) and it was pretty good, i must say. made friends with the other stall vendors, who range from this pair of 21 year old malay twins to a young married couple, parent and child (haha, that's me and my mom) to even the ah-sohs (aunties). oh well, i clicked really well with the twins, Asha and Yan. they're not identical though, other than the most obvious reason being that they're of different genders. when i first saw Asha, i was so intimidated by her, because she was soooo typically minah... skinny built, figure-hugging jeans (no, not tapered), belly and nose piercing, eyeliner, mascara, well-drawn brows... you get my drift. but ironically, she asked for my name first. and then we just hit it off. as i got to know her day by day, i found her very humble, rational, and someone who doesn't take nonsense from guys easily. she even gave me advice about malay guys, saying that they can be very cheeky. and then related to me an incident involving her and a close guy friend, who wanted to be "naughty" with her and asked if she wanted to pangkeng (is that how you spell it?). i didn't get what she meant, so she explained to me that it means; to go to a hotel.
haha, she's really nice and sweet... about her brother though. he's the older one of the twins, but he's a total goof ball. unlike his younger sister, he likes to make fun of her, pick small petty quarrels with her, and just make stupid jokes. he even goes around to other vendors' stalls to help them promote to customers, but doesn't even want to man his own stall... wth. damn funny guy. this chinese lady beside our stall, Nancy, was relating to us about the funny antics of her female dog, Yan laughed so hard, and it was so infectious that i laughed till i cried. i'm going to miss that bazaar particularly. i even got so caught up with all the joking going on, that my mom was so pissed with me when i didn't attend to our customers. *WHOOPS* heheh...
so, the next one will be at the Cricket Club, but that's for members and entry for public is via invites only. bummer. so exclusive... means very limited, genuinely NICE people.
now, it's back to slacking and TRYING to get a job. seriously, i find that i might as well not work at all. it's already coming to mid-February and nothing. oh, put a sock in it. on a more cheerier note (as cheery as it can ever get that is... :-P), my birthday is coming up in 2 weeks. not that it's something to holler about and jump for sheer joy. my last year as a teen. ouch. 20 is pinching me back to reality already. but i want that Zara jacket!!! it's dark brown and rugged-looking. Zanna, please remember to buy for meEEeee... medium size okay? heehee... ^_^
so, who's free to go out with me this St. Valentine's Day? (or rather, i shall rephrase that, "who DARES and IS WILLING to go out with me on St. Valentine's Day?") -_-
