The signal is subtle
We pass just close enough to touch
No questions, no answers
We know by now to say enough
With only simple words
With only subtle turns
The things we feel alone for one another
There is a secret that we keep
I won't sleep if you won't sleep
Because tonight may be the last chance we'll be given
We are compelled to do what we must do
We are compelled to do what we have been forbidden
So I won't sleep if you won't sleep tonight

the NERVE of SOME people
can you believe it?!... no wait. you can't possibly, simply because i haven't told you what it is yet. haha. i'm soooo lame.
okay, seriously, here it is. today i worked at my mom's bazaar the whole day. because she injured her back, and decided to take the day off. she only sent me there, help me open up, then came back to close-up, and go home. okay, that's not the point. the point is, when i was working, this woman (a potential customer i thought) came up to point out this red-coloured 2-stone pendant. it is made up of two kinds of stone: coral and photo... er... don't know what shit. it's photo-something (don't worry, i know the stone, but i have to refer to the notebook for now, which is at the stall at the moment). so this woman, picks up the pendant and asks if it's made of coral. i say yes. then she asks if the smaller stone is made of coral. i say no, the bigger one is the coral. then she says, "no lar... the small one is coral, for sure i know." then i say, "no, the coral is the bigger one ma'am." "NOooo... the smaller one, i'm telling you." and she keeps pointing and waving the pendant to empahasise her point. then i just look away, and say half-heartedly, "hmm, yea, i think i messed it up." satisfied and smug, she chucks the pendant down, and walks away.
WHAT THE FUCK?! she didn't even want to buy anything, but just walk up to the stall and start picking a fight with me. afraid that she was in the RIGHT (which i KNOW SHE WASN'T), i SMSed my mom and asked her which is really the coral stone, the bigger one or the smaller one. she said the bigger one.. SEEEEEEeeeee!!! and i remember well too, because i remember when she did research on the net for all her stones. that WOMAN totally made me feel like a total idiotic fool, and i bet she enjoyed it.
no sales. and she dare come up to me and make a mockery of my knowledge of what i'm selling. some people. GRRrRrrrrrRRR!!!
other than that, my day was slow, but fun at the same time. new vendors behind us. 21 year old malay twins. a boy and a girl. and the aunties around me offered me sweets and kueh lapis. hahaha.. dinner was McCafe's chocolate chip muffin. what a pig i am. but i like it once in a while. ^_^
