there are some things that are better left unknown well, yesterday was a sucky day at work for me at my mom's bazaar stall. only 2 customers. from 11 a.m. till 8.30 p.m. whaaaattt??? i basically sat there listening to my iPod Mini the whole afternoon till closing time. but i only worked from 2 p.m. onwards, so thank GOD! well, on an even more sore note, i actually got accepted to work as part-time service crew at The Outsider's Cafe at Tanglin Mall. today's supposed to be my first day at work there, in fact. BUUUUTTTT... the shift is from 4 to 11 p.m. and that pisses my mom off quite a bit. tell you the truth, i don't mind at all! just that she hates me working the night shift. but it's not a permanent shift. the only reason why i have to work that shift, is because the boss is only around at that time, and i need her supervision and training. after i get the hang of it, she said i could change shift. man!! and the people there are soooo nice... around my age... and even the boss herself is only 23. bummer. BIG TIME. oh well, back to the CLASSIFIEDS for me. my mom wants me to try Zara, but i have yet to fill out the form. they even want a photo of the applicant. where am i supposed to get a decent photo of FUGLY me? oh yeah, back to the topic right at the top... some things are better left unknown. i think that's true in some situations. well, what you don't know won't hurt/kill you right? especially when it's about your feelings, or someone else's for that matter. sometimes not knowing something can help improve a certain situation, or even make the most hopeless case make a big turnaround miraculously. though it's rare, i know, but somehow, it happens when you least expect it. maybe i'm just rambling. maybe i'm not. but all i know is that, i'm beginning to see a whole new light on many things in my fucked up life.
