The signal is subtle
We pass just close enough to touch
No questions, no answers
We know by now to say enough
With only simple words
With only subtle turns
The things we feel alone for one another
There is a secret that we keep
I won't sleep if you won't sleep
Because tonight may be the last chance we'll be given
We are compelled to do what we must do
We are compelled to do what we have been forbidden
So I won't sleep if you won't sleep tonight

this thing is SERIOUSLY killing me.
this "thing" is sheer depression. i've tried to prevent myself from thinking about too much. stop being overly paranoid. and avoid pessimistic thoughts as much as possible.
i've tried stuffing myself with chocs like a fucking glutton. i've tried keeping myself busy with whatever small errands i need to get done. and with what useful advice people have disepensed to me, i try and apply and take a pinch of salt with everything i hear. nothing has worked. and not knowing my immediate future doesn't help. it definitely doesn't fucking help.
i find it harder to smile. to laugh. to even crack a sincere joke. what's wrong with me? i want to cry all the time. i just want to be by myself.
sometimes i'm so tempted to go back to old habits. my best friend would know what i'm talking about. the curiousity of pain.
