i guess i know what she means. and i DO agree with her; it's a fact everyone has to face eventually. but everyone will do so in denial. i just pray that i'll be able to avoid that phase for as long as i can. because that's when the pain sets in. and your heart turns to lead and drags itself whenever it tries to reach out and feel for your significant other, because you know the other person won't respond as lovingly as you'd wish he/she did. crap. i'm babbling. i think?
on a less dramatic note, i give Charlie & The Chocolate Factory a 4/5. not for it's depiction as a children's story. but as a dark, morbid, twisted fantasy land. as lynnette said you remember parts of the story, but not in the sweet way you would want a child to remember it. in fact, it might just give that poor kid mightmares. but being the sometimes demented and weird, dark person that i am, it's right up my alley.
