The signal is subtle
We pass just close enough to touch
No questions, no answers
We know by now to say enough
With only simple words
With only subtle turns
The things we feel alone for one another
There is a secret that we keep
I won't sleep if you won't sleep
Because tonight may be the last chance we'll be given
We are compelled to do what we must do
We are compelled to do what we have been forbidden
So I won't sleep if you won't sleep tonight

thank You
thankful that i'm doing the course of my choice. thankful that for once i don't feel stupid, as i understand what is being taught. thankful that i got commended for my good work in my assignments so far.
thankful that we made it this far. thankful that we compromised and saw through each other. thankful for spending the entire day with You, including breakfast - which is a first for me, even compared to my other relationships. thankful i'm able to understand how much Your job is important to You, in spite of it inteferring our dates - all the time. thankful i've learnt how to shut up and not complain about the smallest - and even biggest - of things.
but what's lingering in my mind now is, how come You don't sound as enthusiastic as me when we find out there's an opportunity to meet? maybe it's just me being paranoid.
so i shall keep it to myself, for there's no point in being excited till i actually see You.
