The signal is subtle
We pass just close enough to touch
No questions, no answers
We know by now to say enough
With only simple words
With only subtle turns
The things we feel alone for one another
There is a secret that we keep
I won't sleep if you won't sleep
Because tonight may be the last chance we'll be given
We are compelled to do what we must do
We are compelled to do what we have been forbidden
So I won't sleep if you won't sleep tonight

a penny for my thought?
what if...
you knew that a certain guy/girl was crushing on you, but you were attached. and not that you were totally digging this girl/guy, but you wanted to see how things could go on between you two. so when this guy/girl asked you out, you said yes, without telling your significant other. then as the "date" went on, you did enjoy yourself. in fact you two held hands, and the guy/girl did peck you on the cheek, but you didn't return it. but overall, at the end of the whole "date", you realised you and this certain guy/girl could never have a future together because the "date" made you realise one thing - something you were happy you realised before it was too late: that the one you're with, is the one you want. and that your significant other is the one you truly love. would that whole "date" be considered as cheating on your partner? would your partner be enraged, although it was the very mistake of going behind your partner's back that made you realise how much your partner means to you? what do you think?
then i'll tell you what i think.
