funny funny day
the first thing that was funny today happened while i was working. me and my colleague, Nadia, were going up the escalator leading from City Hall MRT to Raffles City to check out if there'd be better luck up there. as we were about to "board" the escalator, a group of 3 tall, slim and sexily clad women walked in front of us. the first thought on my mind: 'hmm... i should approach them when we get up to Raffles City.' then once the tallest woman started talking, i immediately decided to keep that thought to myself. they were transexuals. so nevermind that part, but the one standing right in front of the group was wearing a mini denim skirt. the next thing Nadia said was "hey! can see her underwear!" i was so shocked by what she said, that i just followed my instincts and looked up to find a pair of fruity-decorated undies peaking from under HER skirt. it's one horrible thing to see someone's underwear in public, it's another TERRIBLE thing to see a transexual's.
next funny thing was watching Chicken Little. plot is, yes i agree, rubbish. but the charismatic and adorable characters make up for it. ^_^ fish out of the water and that little orange herbie is awwwwwww... kawaii!
another funny thing (actually it can be called more amusing than funny) is, as much as i hate working at that scammish agency, i'm going to miss the people and the supervisors that are so awesomely nice. especially people like Nadia, Melissa, Gabrielle, Shermaine, Cindy and Nico. but considering the cons of working under that agency, i'll probably not go back there. it's too much hassle.
and to add to my funny day, was that my ski pants arrived! and it was initially at a 50% discount. meaning half of $229, which is $114.50. but today when i went to collect it, they told me that now it's on 60% discount. so i paid only $91.60. a total bargain under $100 for ski pants, considering they're from Salomon!
and FUNNY enough, i'm not looking forward to the weekend. only looking forward to working my last day on Monday, driving on Tuesday, celebrating Your birthday with You on Wednesday, and finally flying off on Thursday.
phew. then back to school. that i don't mind at all. i miss my peeps. i had lunch at Rice Table with them today, which was sheer joy. always fun and enjoyable. too bad i had to leave early for work.
i'm missing You so much already. why?
