The signal is subtle
We pass just close enough to touch
No questions, no answers
We know by now to say enough
With only simple words
With only subtle turns
The things we feel alone for one another
There is a secret that we keep
I won't sleep if you won't sleep
Because tonight may be the last chance we'll be given
We are compelled to do what we must do
We are compelled to do what we have been forbidden
So I won't sleep if you won't sleep tonight

the need for speed? or the want?
i absolutely HATE drivers or riders (motorcyclists) who speed. hate hate hate hate hate!!!
everytime my dad speeds (which is most of the time), be it for good reason or not, i instinctively pray as though it's the last few nano-seconds of my life. if they want to die as soon as possible, they can jolly well go DIE!
the jerky breaking, the feel of gravity squashing you into your seat and the digestive juices in your stomach doing a tumble dry cycle... OMG. i absolutely hate it!
in addition to that, is that he always manages to attempt to run down pedestrians at zebra crossings or traffic light junctions. yes, some may be jay-walking or even walking slower than others due to old age or due to the extra duty of handling kids, but you have no right to go as close to them and barely touch their jello knees. for Ford's sake!!!
and to think since the roads are more slippery, he would be extra careful. NOOOOO... argh!!!
seriously i think my death will be in some freak car accident.
