The signal is subtle
We pass just close enough to touch
No questions, no answers
We know by now to say enough
With only simple words
With only subtle turns
The things we feel alone for one another
There is a secret that we keep
I won't sleep if you won't sleep
Because tonight may be the last chance we'll be given
We are compelled to do what we must do
We are compelled to do what we have been forbidden
So I won't sleep if you won't sleep tonight

tears of regret and pressure
i don't wish to cry anymore over the fact that i'm so incapable of passing my TP, even after the 3rd attempt.
but when people start asking me what the fuck i did to screw up, i can't help feeling smaller and smaller, to the point of being useless.
this is the 4th time i've broken down in tears today. and i have a feeling it's not going to be the last. i have no fucking idea why i can't hold myself together.
i know there are other people out there who've taken this fucking test more than 5 times, but still people don't expect me to be like them. and i know mainly because i'm throwing good money down the sink. i haven't felt so miserable about any kind of failure since i let my baby down - my failure to be faithful to him.
this is more than just getting a licence. it's about living up to people's standards. about not wasting your family's money. about telling people you are useful for something.
ultimately, for me, about reassuring myself that i'm not a failure at everything i do.
