The signal is subtle
We pass just close enough to touch
No questions, no answers
We know by now to say enough
With only simple words
With only subtle turns
The things we feel alone for one another
There is a secret that we keep
I won't sleep if you won't sleep
Because tonight may be the last chance we'll be given
We are compelled to do what we must do
We are compelled to do what we have been forbidden
So I won't sleep if you won't sleep tonight

Happy St. Valentine's Eve
it's approximately an hour to St. Valentine's Day. and i have this, firstly, to say:
as i go on my knees,
and hope that you hear my plea,
i ask that you be forever mine,
on this eve of st. valentine's.
i hope the wait of a week to see You is worth it. i miss you like fuck. :)
and yes, i know i said i would tell you guys why st. valentine's should be for everyone, regardless of your relationship status (including singles).
so here goes:
singles: this day should hold hope that there is not necessarily a perfect match for you, but that someone out there's in your shoes as well. you aren't the only single on this gigantic planet, whether by choice or not. they say surrounding yourself with friends and family is love too. and they're right. friends are for life. trust me.
couples: this day should be extra special aside from all the other days that you two have already spent with each other. in any case that valentine's is the only occasion you two get mushy and passionate, stop that habit. if you aren't going to let each other know how you feel for the other person on a regular basis, be it by action or words, then you two should start questioning why in hell you two are together.
broken-hearted: there are no words i can possibly say that can soothe a tired soul. and i won't attempt to. i will admit to you, straight up, it will be painful (unless of course, you disregarded the entire relationship to begin with, or you were the dumper). for those truly in "mourning", i highly suggest against being alone, because this will only aggravate the pain. key word: FRIENDS. try as hard as you can to get a buddy or two or three (or even a whole party!) to cheer you up and take your mind off the shadow of your past.
estranged: you feel your relationship is dead, with a capital "D". this is your perfect opportunity to step up. if the relationship is that important to you, do something. maybe words have only led to arguments. this day is the perfect opportunity to show them how you feel, and that you want to fix this rut. if they have any ounce of feelings left for you, they'll see how stupid they were to think the relationship was worth shit.
i think i've covered all aspects, haven't i? i hope that anyone who's reading my two cents worth of advice can make sense (even a wee little bit) of what i've just babbled on about.
if there's anything to say,
if there's anything to do,
if there's any other way,
i'd do anything for you.
i did everything for you.
