The signal is subtle
We pass just close enough to touch
No questions, no answers
We know by now to say enough
With only simple words
With only subtle turns
The things we feel alone for one another
There is a secret that we keep
I won't sleep if you won't sleep
Because tonight may be the last chance we'll be given
We are compelled to do what we must do
We are compelled to do what we have been forbidden
So I won't sleep if you won't sleep tonight

fly
so, here's the deal.
i wanted to give my baby a treat to 'a midsummer night's dream' at fort canning park on the 26th of may.
bought the tickets ($70 in total) and gave him the liberty and privilege of holding on to it.
he put it in his bike bag, and on his way home...
it flew like paper aeroplanes soaring into the sunset along the PIE.
i cried so hard when he told me.
not because he was stupid enough not to zip up his bag properly, but because it was my GIFT to him for our 25th month anniversary. and he just doesn't get it.
just me, him, the stars (i hope!) and a beautiful play. plus some tens of other people, yes i realise. BUT that's not the point. hmph.
so now, he's going to replace them. i don't know if i overreacted.
this scares me more than anything before. it seriously scares the shit out of me.
