The signal is subtle
We pass just close enough to touch
No questions, no answers
We know by now to say enough
With only simple words
With only subtle turns
The things we feel alone for one another
There is a secret that we keep
I won't sleep if you won't sleep
Because tonight may be the last chance we'll be given
We are compelled to do what we must do
We are compelled to do what we have been forbidden
So I won't sleep if you won't sleep tonight

live
well, i'm up because i'm just waiting for my hair to dry. yes, at this time of the morning, i washed my hair. hah. i know it's really bad for you, but oh well. been a LONG day.
so now, i'm just wasting electricity by blogging, and actually watching live earth 2007. i must say, for the acts that i recognise, they're quite good to watch 'live'.
but the best part of live earth, is not the performances themselves (because God only knows it's just to get people to watch the stupid event!), but the short films and mini advertorials featuring celebrities. they really make you sit up and realise the horror of what we do to destroy our common home, Earth.
it's during these rare moments, that you realise how destructive we are, and how we abuse our power to exploit every possible resource available to us. watching live earth actually makes me feel sad. and worst of all, regret.
i've made my pledge on live earth's website. have you? :)
