The signal is subtle
We pass just close enough to touch
No questions, no answers
We know by now to say enough
With only simple words
With only subtle turns
The things we feel alone for one another
There is a secret that we keep
I won't sleep if you won't sleep
Because tonight may be the last chance we'll be given
We are compelled to do what we must do
We are compelled to do what we have been forbidden
So I won't sleep if you won't sleep tonight

gwen stefani
tomorrow night's the night.
singapore indoor stadium, 8 p.m. with my sister and nora. woots! been some time since i last attended a concert.
the most recent being fort minor. ahh, the joy of moshing. if i had a wish list of bands to make it to our shore, it'd be:
All-American Rejects My Chemical Romance Linkin Park (yes, i know. again. but i missed their last concert here, and those who went said it was hell GOOD!)
the one thing i don't get, is why did they make gwen's gig here a sitting one? they could've at least included a free-standing area! i think it'll look pretty pathetic and stupid to be sitting down when gwen's on-stage throwing herself around and jumping like a little monkey, when we just sit and gawk at her. or at least, sadly attempt to dance in our chairs. pfft.
if there was a free-standing area, that's where i'd want to be! there's something unexplainable about the experience of moshing. it's crowded, sweaty, HOT, crammed, squished... but the adrenaline rush from screaming your lungs out, torturing your eardrums and waving your arms in the air like a 5-year-old... is priceless.
trust me, it's like a drug. just like you, baby. :)
