The signal is subtle
We pass just close enough to touch
No questions, no answers
We know by now to say enough
With only simple words
With only subtle turns
The things we feel alone for one another
There is a secret that we keep
I won't sleep if you won't sleep
Because tonight may be the last chance we'll be given
We are compelled to do what we must do
We are compelled to do what we have been forbidden
So I won't sleep if you won't sleep tonight

in limbo
i just had a thought. why should we all worship our 'individual Gods' when doing so causes us so much strife amongst mankind?
wars. terror. broken spirits. hate.
the whole basis of religion is faith and the belief that there's a higher being. our spiritual self is far more powerful when we believe in a greater good. and if this is so, i can only wish we all believed in God. just God. not plural.
i'm not advocating that people should desert their faiths or that it's less holy, but i just wish we could push aside our ego and see religion for the purity that it is. what difference does it make if i'm a muslim, you're a christian, and you're a buddhist, taoist, hindu and so on?
we all believe in a bigger entity that's greater than anything we could ever imagine. and with that, we should pray as one. because humanity's ignorance is their own downfall.
on another note, how do you react when someone tells you you've got suppressed anger and encourages you to go for counselling to save yourself? should you pray or question how the person looks at you so differently now?
