The signal is subtle
We pass just close enough to touch
No questions, no answers
We know by now to say enough
With only simple words
With only subtle turns
The things we feel alone for one another
There is a secret that we keep
I won't sleep if you won't sleep
Because tonight may be the last chance we'll be given
We are compelled to do what we must do
We are compelled to do what we have been forbidden
So I won't sleep if you won't sleep tonight

missing you
happy 28th month, baby.
it's a real pity that we've hardly spoken for the past 2 days. mere 2-3 minute calls have sufficed, and although i try my utter best to keep thoughts of you at bay, there's always a lingering image of you somewhere in my mind.
sigh.
going through the motions is what i've been doing to keep time ticking away, without the pain. i know you won't read this, but i guess i just have to let everything out. somewhere, somehow.
to be completely honest, i had the most horrible dream a few nights ago. it involved me murdering someone (a fictitious female neighbour) and then cutting her into slices, in the wee hours of the morning. i dissected her into smaller chunks only because i was afraid she'd still be alive to tell of her gruesome death.
slice her to pieces... can you imagine? i even threw some of her bones out her window (why i did that, i'll never know).
oh yeah, i even mudered the rest of her family (i.e. parents and grandparents) before going to her bedroom, where she was. i showed no fear, no remorse, no disgust. i felt none, either.
missing you is terribly hard, though i lie to myself it's a piece of cake. but, of course, i will never, ever tell you that.
because you have a life. unlike me.
