The signal is subtle
We pass just close enough to touch
No questions, no answers
We know by now to say enough
With only simple words
With only subtle turns
The things we feel alone for one another
There is a secret that we keep
I won't sleep if you won't sleep
Because tonight may be the last chance we'll be given
We are compelled to do what we must do
We are compelled to do what we have been forbidden
So I won't sleep if you won't sleep tonight

reconciliation
this weekend was dramatic and yet, sweet. on saturday, we fought and cried it out. well, okay, I FOUGHT AND CRIED IT OUT.
he just looked exasperated and fed up. but in the end, i guess we realise that now's not the time. not yet.
there's still something worthwhile. and then today, i knew why. :)
to make ourselves feel better, we bought each other a pair of jeans each (and in celebration of our belated anniversary which we both forgot about!).
i got a pair of black skinnies from river island, and he got a pair of brown levi's. we were both really happy.
in a long while.
but this poor guy isn't too happy. i felt completely disgusted at how some tourists think they're so advanced and superior just because they're whites. or maybe they just think singapore is still somewhere in indonesia or even thailand. click here to see the offensive clip.
i don't know how you may interpret this short clip, but i don't think these 3 brits needed to humiliate and taunt the unfortunate victim, even if they really were short of cash. oh well, just watch it, and see what i mean.
it's going to be hard not seeing you. again.
